When we pray about our singleness, God often answers with a promise. A verse springs out of the Bible, a spiritual authority gives us a special word or many other signs. To believe in this promise, we must remember WHO made it.

It’s not always easy to be a pastor! Sometimes, people ask pastors to pray for needs that are very hard to meet, especially when it comes to marriage! No wonder why some pastors look to flee when they see a single member of their congregation approaching them.

For the vast majority of singles, marriage looks like an improvement to their situation. But is that really the case? If we idealize marriage, we are more than likely to be surprised after the honeymoon. It also applies to our relationship with God.
Changing churches to find love?
Maybe your church is small and you aren’t interested in anyone there. Or maybe you are in a big church, but you still haven’t found someone that makes your heart beat faster. Should you change churches to increase your chances of finding “the one”?
Devotion, beauty or both?
As Christians, Christ should be first in our heart, so we should be looking primarily for a partner that is on fire for God. But does that mean physical appearance doesn’t matter?
