Most Christians know they won’t have seven years of misfortune breaking a mirror, walking under a ladder, or petting a black cat. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t superstitious. For without love, our faith can become superstition.


Most Christians know they won’t have seven years of misfortune breaking a mirror, walking under a ladder, or petting a black cat. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t superstitious. For without love, our faith can become superstition.

Sometimes we must put on the full armor of God and fight the good fight of faith. But we must never forget that at other times, we must leave the battlefield and return to the fortress.

I recently read a quote that I really agree with : “In relationships, the little things are the big things.” I think there is some relevancy too when it comes to starting a relationship. Sometimes, the little things are actually the big things.

We generally have no problem finding our flaws, but we shouldn’t forget to dig out the treasures God has placed within us and around us. Great wealth awaits us; we just need to find it!

We are truly privileged to be children of God. When we make Him our source, we can live in His rest and offer that rest to those around us.
