Sometimes, in our suffering, we forget that God is on our side and that He takes good care of us. So here are some reminders of how God can work to transform our suffering into blessings.
Change for good
After a painful failure or a motivating sermon, we often decide to change this or that. But most of the time it doesn’t last. Why do our bad habits come back?
Salvation does not change everything!
The most beautiful gift that God has given us is salvation through the death of His son Jesus on the cross. Without it, our life would be meaningless. But beware, there are areas of our life that will not have changed after our salvation!
Be yourself! Really?
A piece of advice that we often hear is: don’t pretend to be someone we are not. And it is true. However, this advice should not be used as an excuse not to improve.
To repent is to free yourself
We love to sing to God, raise our needs to Him, and cry in His arms. But we are much less excited to repent. Maybe it is because we have forgotten the benefits of repentance.
