The prayer taught by Jesus begins with “Our Father”. God has many names because all of His attributes do not fit into one personality. But when we address God as our Father, what does it mean?
Our Father ... give us ... a partner!
The Bible does not tell us how to pray for our future partner, but we can draw inspiration from the prayer of Jesus to make sure that our prayer is well balanced.
God to the rescue for the single parent
God’s plan for taking care of children is to have a mother and a father together. Now when one parent is missing, God doesn’t abandon the one that is still there. He is faithful, present and we can count on His help. He promised it.
