Sometimes, in our suffering, we forget that God is on our side and that He takes good care of us. So here are some reminders of how God can work to transform our suffering into blessings.
We sometimes consider a Christian to be strong and victorious if they do not seem to be living any suffering, if everything seems easy to them, or if they are supplied with material goods. But is that a good way to look at it?
Unanswered prayers, missed opportunities, broken hearts… many circumstances can make us shed tears. But in the hands of God, these tears are seeds that will give us joy later.
Sometimes we quickly read the verses in Romans 12 that talk about being a living sacrifice. Because being a sacrifice is not fun. Then it is not easy to find joy in Christ when it is painful to follow Him.
