We have many dreams and get disappointed or even angry when they don’t come true. Rarely do we view all of this from an eternal perspective. However, life does not end with us.
We have steps to take to move forward towards God’s promises. But sometimes our answers don’t come when we want (like marriage!), and we may be tempted to take matters into our own hands. It’s not easy to wait!
Then, here are some questions to discuss:
“God is preparing a special person just for you.” Is this something you have heard in your Christian circles? What do you think?
What is true in this statement? And what is wrong? What does the Bible say about this?
“God will give your heart to someone who deserves it.” Is this something you have heard in your Christian circles? What do you think?
A phrase that Christian singles often hear is: “Wait, God is preparing the right person for you.” But even though this sentence sounds very spiritual, it is not biblical and it may even be dangerous.
